The purpose of this experiment was to find the molar concentration of a strong acid,HCl.  This was done by titrating HCl with a standardized solution of NaOH. The average concentration of the HCl solution was found to be 0.08 M.  The first and second trials recorded were the best runs compared to the last run of the titrator that was taken.  Human error may have contributed to the skewed results if the NaOH solution that was standardized in the previous experiment was exposed to air at any time.  This would have thrown off the concentration of the solution.  Also, the magnetic stirrer that was used in the experiment seemed to be broken and slow when it was set to a level of 4 or 5.  This may have affected the overall results and especially the last trial performed.
