Procedure

1. Started a new experiment in the data collection system.
2. Set up the spectrometer.
3. Added about 10mL of each of the five solutions in individual square cuvettes
4. Ensured that the reflective side showed the color of each solution.
5. Started up Data Studio and set it to record the wavelength of each solution.
6. We set the system to display absorbance on the y-axis and wavelength on the x-axis.
7. Started recording the data by placing one square cuvette at a time into the spectrometer.
8. Making sure that the reflective side was clean after each test.
9. After each test we stopped the GLX to save the data recorded.

    10. After collecting the data we transferred it to the data studio and created one graph out of all the recorded values.
